Red is one of our most favorite homebred does and is related to lots of other favorite goats. She can be a little particular about who catches her and when, but we are willing to overlook that. She comes in to be milked and is very easy to handle otherwise. Red has been bred twice a year her whole life. While that is NOT ideal and is NOT something we would recommend, it is a fact, and we would like to be upfront about it. We have a couple daughters and a buck and plan to retain more. Fingers crossed Red continues to mature in a way that makes us proud.
